As Chassis Manager, Francis is responsible for the procurement and fabrication of BR-19’s chassis. He is also involved in chassis dynamic testing and the development of future chassis’ for Brunel racing.
As part of earlier studies at Brunel University, Francis designed a composite monocoque chassis for Brunel Eco Racing. This gained him valuable experience in chassis design and composite structural analysis. He also has industrial experience working at Sellafield Ltd where he led a design team as part of Sellafield’s Innovation Centre, which went on to achieve a company excellency award.
